Popular Post djrey Posted October 3, 2023 Popular Post Posted October 3, 2023 An old favorite for many on this forum and one that I regularly pull into rotation as fall rolls in. The shorter format works well in the cooler weather and the flavors remind me so much of fall. Let's dig in. Beautifully built cigar with a fairly dark shade of wrapper and decent oil content. Draw is perfect. Opens up the same way they always do for me. Sweet molasses/syrup and a woody note. I am always amazed at the consistency this blend offers. Gentle spice starts to come in with a touch of pepper. Combined with the syrup sweetness its reminiscent of an $8 fall themed Starbucks drink, just a lot better... 🤣. Only downside is these tend to end a bit bitter for me. The wood note creeps up a bit and touch of bitter chocolate to finish this one out. Syrup is pretty much gone at this point. A great performer and one to come back to every fall. My entertainment for this cigar is watching iPhone 15 Pro reviews to see if its finally the year to upgrade my aging XS. 90 pts. 7
GVan Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 Good review, these are a mainstay in my "morning coffee" rotation. Thanks 1
Popular Post NSXCIGAR Posted October 5, 2023 Popular Post Posted October 5, 2023 I found 18 and 19s could have a tinge of bitterness to them. Gone in 20 and been good since. Always in my rotation. 5
