Long time lurker, first time poster. So hello to all!

I live in the states so trying Cuban marcas is a bit more difficult than I'd like. Finally made it down to a LCDH in Costa Rica, and picked up my first Connie A. Wow...maybe the best cigar I've ever smoked? So much brightness and a very clear citrus zest on every puff. How do these compare to the other Connies or the mags? Any other marcas with the citrus notes I should know about? Excuse the noob question, but would love some direction here - thank you!

I would do a search with terms like "HU characteristics" to get a handle on the brand. In my opinion it's the most diverse in terms of flavor profiles within a brand. Almost every model is different.

If you like Connie A I would suggest trying a Connie 2. I prefer them to the A. Connie B is an oddball to me and the 1 I like but they're a step down from the 2 and A.

Thank you for the suggestion! I'll be in London in a few weeks so hopefully I can buy 1 of each and see how I feel about them.

Would love that! I'm going out for work and they have me set up near Notting Hill. Are you usually at the lounges? I was def planning on stopping at Davidoff, and maybe JJ Fox, or the Sahakian Lounge.

I'd have to travel in centrally but do so often enough. Just need a little organising. Feel free to drop a DM when you know any days/times.

Check the opening times of the lounges.

JJFox, Davidoff, Cgars on St James.

Sahakian lounge, Boisdales Belgravia, no6 Cavendish Ive been to and a few others. Plenty options. Check the prices in advance so you don't feint lol
