J.C. Newman Unveils Cigars From 1857

The hand-rolled smokes from Havana survived a remarkable 134 years at the bottom of the Atlantic and could be the oldest cigars in the world

Just like I don't find "the worlds largest [insert man made object here]" interesting simply because it's large, I'm not fascinated with something that is simply "old".  If they were evidence of the oldest cigar ever known to be made, then a museum display makes perfect sense, but these are just ugly old rolls of tobacco.  I find the shipwreck story to be much more interesting than finding this old box of cigars.

However, If they posted a video herf of smoking "the oldest cigars in the world", I'd love to see that.

I would like to know what they mean by "minimally-breached trunk"... Were they soaked in sea water or did the water in the trunk not reach the cigars?
