I just watched this movie again last week. I think it had been 20 years or so since I watched it last. One of the best!

Candy was a sweet and generous man. I’ve researched his life and his story many times over the years. He is still sorely missed.

I don’t have a clip of it to post up, but the ending of Trains, Planes, and Automobiles. John Candy was so funny, but in that movie he broke your friggin’ heart. Really gut-wrenching, although the movie was hilarity up until that point. We still watch it every Thanksgiving.
