Part of it is true, probably more true than it was in the past. The red haired guy's application of the Magnitsky act to Cuba and Venezuela has completely stopped the movement of USD by those two countries worldwide. The sleepy guy left it in place so the economy is going to get worse. If you live in the US it is another reason why you are paying more for fuel and anything else associated to it. The US stopped buying Venezuelan fuel in 2018, so by cutting off that source everyone else in the market gets a chance to bump their prices. Prior to 2018, the US was buying $42 million of crude daily from Venezuela. For many decades they were the #1 supplier of Jet Fuel to the US. John

Perhaps Cuba should surrender themselves to China, and become a territory of such. China already has their foot in Cuba's door. Perhaps they can help feed the unfortunate ones that haven't skated off to other countries.
