Trinidad Coloniales APU JUL 14 (RMRRW-T)

I’m not going to bury the lede.  This is a 95 point cigar.  It’s just a stunner.  Flavors unfolded in an elegant fashion.  Full earthy flavors that might have been harsh when young but have developed so, well, elegantly. 

My buddy brought over some amazing whiskies to sample so I thought a lovely well aged cigar would be a lovely go-with.  Everything was tasty.

This is the kind of cigar that I want 10 boxes of.  Sadly though, I likely won’t buy any more.  When I purchased them, not all that long ago, they might have been 10 or 20% more than one of the regular sticks I smoke.  And I know they love a good nap.  Now, however, I’m so priced out of them that I might go back to my PLPC for good.  These are special treats and I will cherish my 3-4 boxes I have left.
