Got a mule going in a few weeks- any good shops besides the LCDH? Any (maybe overly optimistic) chance of finding some aged sticks at older prices?

There's an Awful LCDH in Zurich.  If you leave that store, around the corner there is a better cigar shop.  I think you take a right leaving the LCDH and like less than a 100 yards.  I wouldn't expect much at either considering my last trip to the region.

Why/how is the LCDH in Zurich awful? Curious.

Owner is a douche, crappy selection at the best of times, decor & service not befitting a LCDH.

Another vote for Manuel‘s. He has a smoking lounge.
Tabak-Lädeli close to the trainstation, tiny shop. It’s an adventure.
I would not recommend don cigarro for the same reason of LCDH above.

you want find anything with age nowadays. Hopefully you will find anything, besides dust, in the shelves.

I was in CH two weeks ago and it looked pretty grim for cigars.  Barcelona was also grim.  I think Duty Free's are getting out of the cigar business in general.

Just back from Zurich and been to Manuels… loads of stock, but the price is killing me…

too expensive for most of CC… wide Edmundo over 60, Lusitania over 64.. frankly I think their humidity a bit high (72) and some vintage stuff are with mold.. but the staff are very friendly..

I should have ordered from rhein cigar online and ship to my hotel.. sad

Agreed. Zero Cubans in Edinburgh on the way to Barcelona and zero in BCN duty free on the way back. Ciggies, minis and pouches of baccy only
