Certainly cigar friendly and will always have a few smoking there, but not more than about 20% of tables. You might get the odd wrinkled nose from the table next to you. They have a very small very overpriced list of cigars on sale, but fine to BYO. Very nice environment and drinks. Ocean 12 is the name of the lounge at the casino. It's sort of a high roller luxury venue. Bit of a nightclub indoors then a very large outdoor smoking area with deep couches. Pretty decent cigar selection at not much of a markup over Australian retail prices. Also fine to BYO. Very deep list of whisky, cognac etc. Doesn't open until 8pm. There is also Candella Nuevo, private club in Queen St if you know a member who can take you. Similar to Oceans in most respects. In Brunswick St Fitzroy there is Polly that is a cocktail bar with a little smoking area out the front that is cigar friendly, has a small selection of NCs for sale. Other than that you can smoke in most rooftop bars and beer gardens with varying degrees of friendliness. 2
