Well the stamp at the top says "Camajuaní".  There's a large cigar factory there.  It's in the Villa Clara province.

The words at the top are Spanish for section, shelf, box, code, etc. It makes me think it's has something to do with in inventory record keeping. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Looks like a thin piece of cardboard. Boy, they sure are having a hard time procuring packing materials for cigars. Can't get boxes, now what? Cedar sheets? Perhaps more surprises will show up in boxes??!!

Was it a sealed box then?

Yes it was sealed, I was doing a box check and noticed it after pulling a few cigars out.  It looked strange to me so I checked it out.

Hey, At least they cut the corner for a finger pull. That’s service.

I love it! This is a real collectible. I wonder what the chances are to get one of those in a box??

I agree, i'll probably frame it in my future cigar room.

Actually, it also says "UEB" on that sheet, which was an active factory code at that time period.  That's the Feliz No 2 factory in Holguin.  Maybe it's some kind of inventory transfer record?  IDK.  UEB was a banger of a code though!  Became SOU afterwards, and now it's OEG.  Factory code REG is the Camajuani factory though.  It was LAU before that, SOP afterwards, and now EBP.  I'm not a big box code chaser, but I have a good amount of boxes of cigars rolled at this factory, and they've been great to me.

Interesting, thanks for the info.

timesheets, quota/production/, under the table notes about another worker, lovers tiffs........They can be highly entertaining.
