I miss the old Gato Tuerto

The pre refurbed Gato Tuerto was something special.

The closest thing you will ever find to "Rick's Cafe" from the movie Casablanca  

Smoke filled the room, the music was always varied and great. There was probably a pattern to who was singing but I could never work it out. Just pop through at midnight, get a bottle of something from Elvis at the bar, meet the people around you and hang out until 4am. 

Below is the unstopable Juanca Bacallao. She was 90 at the time. 97 today and still belting out a tune.
