Daniel Marshall Red Label 2 2017 (FSCRC)

Since I had DM desktop and was in a local shop, they recommend I try the DM Red 2.  This was back in 2017/2018.  The profile for a Nica puro was surprising.

Had 1 torpedo left think it was rolled in early 2017 (but claim is all 5 yr old tobacco).  Have to get some more if avail.  Still have a couple coronas and Churchills left.

Aroma is all chocolate, cedar, sweet tobacco.

1st third - tasting sweet dark chocolate cherry, cedar, toasted tobacco.  Lights easily and the draw is on point.

2nd third - still most prominent flavor is the sweet chocolate cherry (reminds me of local ice cream shop flavor), still tasting some cedar but now a little spice - cinnamon comes in.  Little earth too.

3rd - the cream/choc cherry and cinnamon stay but neither too strong.

Now I remember why I like these so much. Would give this 93 (nothing too complex but very enjoyable). Draw and burn very consistent.

Almost reminds me of a heavier version of the N1 maduro taste wise.
