I smoked a BBF before work this past Friday in preparation for working this holiday weekend and just getting to the review now.  I haven't been smoking too many cigars these days as it's been cold and I've been kind of sick for a bit that's been messing with my sinus.  Got this stick from @jsummers157 from winning the FOH fantasy football league last year and is the first stick I've smoked from the league winnings.  Locked in a tough battle with @Goodfortune right now for 3rd place so hopefully the stick gives me good luck haha. 

1 - Has those classic BBF flavors being leathery, woody, and a hint of guiness stout note that is delicious.  Haven't been smoking much these days, but what I have smoked have been somewhat disappointing so it's nice to smoke a good cigar again with flavors besides wood and tobacco. 

2-  Burn is a tad wonky,  Lit it with a cedar splint and attempting to correct it with the splint so I'm sure the burn is my fault.  Doesn't really take too much away from my experience.  Flavors remain the same, was hoping the guiness note would intensify but it stays on the edge of detection.  Keeps me wanting more I suppose?  Body is light-medium at the moment which is lighter than I'd expect, could be because of the burn issues.

3 - Flavors start intensifying in this last third.  A sweetness comes to the guiness note and is just great!  I am butting up to the time I need to start getting ready for work so not able to nub it unfortunately, but the last third was by far the best third.  Body moves to the expected medium-full range and the smoke is a rich dense texture.  Delicious way to end the cigar!

 

Overall - 6.5/10 - Great above average cigar that I enjoyed and hopefully gets my out of my cigar funk.  If the richness of the last third was present through the entire cigar, it would've been a 8 or 9 /10!  Not sure the age of this cigar, but I'm guessing it wasn't too old.  I think it would've stepped up another level with a few more years on it - hope @jsummers157 haven't smoked through all of them yet and will be in for a treat in a few years!
