Punch Churchill (unknown,2018ish)P&PLRW

Dug this out of the vault. I had never smoked a Punch Churchill so I had no idea what to expect. My regular cutter went missing so I used an exacto to perform surgery. Draw was easy with a little resistance. Pleasant aroma pre light of sweet tobacco and leather. 

1st- Peanuts. Reminded me of one of those SDPs from a stellar box last year,but milder. Some creaminess. Retrohale didn't seem to pull out much in the way of complexity or nuanced flavors. Pleasant albeit pretty run of the mill smoke. Construction is excellent to this point. Great ash. I wish there was a bit more smoke output though.

2nd- More of the same. Until I dropped the damn thing and the foot got beat up I was getting a straight burn,and nice ash. More cream ,peanuts,and toasted tobacco. No wow moments so far,but it's a just under medium bodied enjoyable experience. I had to touch up a couple times due to the damage I inflicted upon this poor cigar. 

Final- No edges,peanuts and cream. I enjoyed it to the last inch where it split and burned a bit hot. It was time to pitch it at this point.

90 points.  Decent cigar,nothing special,but enjoyable and no re lights.

I smoke in my truck often because I find my sanctuary there. In this particular case I was waiting on friends for a BBQ at the park. As for the Mrs,we parted ways long ago😆
