should I shake beer before opening?

I'm pretty sure everyone here seen the videos of how beer should be poured. Where they dip the napkin in the cup and you see it react in your stomach... yadaa yadaa yadaa. So with that said im currently drinking out of glass bottles (miller) if I shake it, is it the same concept?

Neat video.  I started doing the same with sparkling water or I get hiccups too easily.
