Popular Post HuffnPuffff
Partagas Maduro 1 LMB SEP 18 (PRW) I've only had a few out of this box, and have really enjoyed them. Cracking flavour profile, albeit without any evolution.Last Friday I met up with some mates for Friday Happy Hour at a rum bar and whizzed thru 3 Petit robustos; a Hoyo from 2014, a Petit Edmundo from 2017 and a Petit Churchill from 2014. They all smoked quite well but for some reason weren't stellar. Had I forgotten to brush my teeth this week? Did I not pray to the right gods at the temple on Tuesday? Hmmm.Dinner came and went and once I got home I fished out this Maduro 1 and headed out to the balcony. I paired it with a tinnie of Hoegaarden and some Dave Chapelle. My god this cigar was smooth. Great smoke and flavour, extremely smooth. It paired fairly well with Dave Chappelle, its constancy providing a solid background to the later's thoughtful poignancy and comic ebb and flow. In the end, Chapelle won out to get the award - a master of his craft; this cigar was a little too static (tasty as it was) to pick up a gong. Time to go floss and say my prayers.
