Partagas Maduro 2 Review (PRW)

Well . I dug one of these out for the review. Never having smoked one I was unsure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised! 

Dark mottled wrapper. Date unknown. Aroma pre light is earthy with a bit of sweetness.  Easy draw. Maybe a bit easier than I like but not a wind tunnel by any means.

1st third.  An earthy sweet tobacco ,some creaminess,surprisingly no edges. These have been resting for quite some time. Great smoke. 

2nd third.  Not much evolution.  More sweetness,cream,a bit of coffee cocoa. I had to touch up the wrapper a bit here and there but it was rather warm and the humidity lately has been high where I live. 

Final third. More of the same. I enjoyed this smoke a lot. I have a couple more stashed away. I think the darker wrapper was a benefit as I've read some not to favorable reviews on these. It wasn't as good as the 898 I had that I nubbed the other day ,but few have been as that box is on fire. Overall though I give this one a 92/100.
