Easily my 12th cigar out of this box and it was all perfume/grandma’s purse flavor. Obviously not a profile for this cigar or brand. I had to leave it for a RASS which is great. Curious what leads to this perfume taste. I have one other box of 2016 Partagas Maduro #1 that have the same purse flavor with the 4 I have smoked. All my cigars are 68/65rh. I’m going to dry box the Partagas and see if that influences flavor. Based on the fact that the Boli is the first of the bunch that taste like hell I’ll assume the tobacco is going south or just a one off? It’s interesting that I do often see purse/perfume as a description so I have to assume it’s somewhat common but off putting.

I have some Fonseca that have that flavor profile and I hate it. It’s been a couple years since I’ve had one so I’m curious to know if time did anything to it as well.
