Popular Post ha_banos Posted July 17, 2022 Popular Post Posted July 17, 2022 Picked this as the only cigar on birthday weekend I've had a chance to smoke! So was expecting it to be a good one. And it's not disappointing! So a bonus to see CnCRW post's I'll claim the best cigar even if I'm not lucky enough to win the comp with this Gorda. From the perfect construction, wrapper, cold aroma, draw. A signature aroma and flavor coming from the first few puffs to the start of the last third. Who said cigars over 22 years old are past their prime! Well the recent 93 Epi 1 certainly was. But this puts it bang to rights they can still be on form. And it tastes like it will be good another 6 years from now. Love the old punch band too. RE and founders name have now been purged. An easy 97 for me. Smooth, tasty, rich and not overpowering. I see what the fuss is about again. Total recall old school. Lovely jubbly. 18
jakebarnes Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 Funny to think you could barely give BPs away at one point! Great review 3
Jack Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 These have been smoking fantastically for the last few years. I know I bought at least five boxes when they were being discontinued - and puttered my way through one box over 10 years. A few years ago I tried them again and tore through a box in a few months. Still have a few boxes left, maybe they'll get even better?
ha_banos Posted July 18, 2022 Author Posted July 18, 2022 They've certainly got the legs. Great judgment to get in on boxes.
