Engineers lost out to finance/accounting far too much then (and probably still do), so even if they did have good ideas they'd get neutered. liquid360 Posted August 2, 2022 Share Posted August 2, 2022 Yeah, you lost me at the Mclaren F1, one of the most brilliant cars of all time… bar none. It defined the “hypercar “ and continues to do just that. If it was anything other than automotive perfection it wouldn’t command the 20+ million USD it’ll cost to pick one up. I own a 720S, a relative of the F1 and it’s such an amazing car. It blows my mind every time I take it out.
