Popular Post grabow32
The small (40gauge by 4.3 inches in length) Trinidad Reyes. This cigar made me fall in love with cigars again. I had given up for a long time after many underwhelming and bland cigars, usually items sold from the small humidors or convenience stores and high end cocktail bars. On a work trip to Prague in December, an amazing place called Tynska Bar and Books had these in their humidor and I was too curious to pass them up. It blew me away. This is what I had been searching for in a cigar. The flavor was complex, with no tobacco "spice" or "Pepper". There was that almost toasted graham cracker flavor I had read in so many reviews. There is this sweet smell to the wrapper that I can never really place, almost like I imagine a long forgotten artisanal hard candy flavored by a hardwood forest? It's not quite cedar but something else. When I returned to the states I dove head first into trying to get these. Through the amazing people on this forum and others I read and read about how to get them shipped to the US. I managed to secure a box of 12, then another, then a box of 24 as I kept reading of the hypothetical but likely increase in their price and as I see them disappear from inventory. I wish I wasn't such a newb and had known there was an LCDH store in Prague, not far from this bar that I likely could have picked them up from. I worry that with all of the latest news that these soon will become a rarity and only available for a months wages I hope I'm wrong but for now I have enough left to last me a few years if I only sneak them from my humidor like they are treasured pieces of candy. I usually can enjoy one for 30 to 45 minutes depending on how it is burning that day. Overall I find the consistency and quality standard to be quite high. The wrappers seem to vary the most as some tend to get quite dark if they are a bit older. These little vitola's take a bit of a precision single flame to light in order to not char the wrapper in my opinion, but once you get they hang of it I end up smoking every one of these until the last nub. 5/5 Photos : The first one I had, a box showing the darkness of some wrappers, the box date of the ones I have.

KCCubano
Excellent review. I went deep on late 19s/20s picking up 6 boxes sub 200.00. Working my way through a NOV 19 box now. With pricing expected to rise significantly on Trinidad lines I will probably slow down my consumption of Reyes for now.

Yeah it's a real bummer that they may triple in price. I purchased one more box of 24 so I'll have enough to last a bit longer than my review before the hypothetical jump. I'm hoping a little that they triple price only is for the larger vitolas which I can never find anyways!
