So, I reviewed this a little more that a year ago as a petite corona. Let's see if a year in the dark has made any changes.

From the 1st puff this is singing. Digestive biscuit, fresh cream, toasted tobacco. Ashfall brings the cuban twang. Thru 2/3 this has been slightly desserty, slightly creamy, tobacco dominant. Apple pastries, digestive biscuit, sweet orange zest. Very pleasant. The last 1/3 picks up and remembers it's a Partagas with some brioche and paprika notes. Getting into the nub, rich chai, condensed milk, cheesecake with Graham cracker crust.

I'd say a year has done this well, no wrapper issues, burn is clean for a windy day. Flavor notes look similar, I must have been in a pretty good mood last year on that day to be so crackingly verbose. All being said, that's more humidification adjustment than rest and age, at least to me.

This totally goes against what I have felt and experienced before from ROTT. I have had less than stellar experiences (albeit from bigger and 'better' cigars) without rest, for example:

So, I found something to replace Party shorts in my humidor and I'm very confused on where I am re ROTT. Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.
