I decided to smoke some perfectos in the last 24 hours and started with this. This is my third Davidoff, the first two being a Winston Churchill Toro and the Signature No 2. Each blend has been distinctly different, as they should, but to an extent that I have not noticed with other brands. The WC was very earthy and had umami flavors while the Signature was very smooth and mellow. This cigar seemed to fall somewhere between the two. It started with grass and hay that transitioned to a more peppery earth flavor. The pepper was more prominent on the retro but nothing overwhelming. Overall not a bad cigar for a Saturday morning.
