I smoke more Churchills and Double Corona's than probably anything else and had this issue when I was storing them at higher humidity (around the 66-70% mark). Dropped down to 61-63% and wowzer, they are a dream... Maybe you are already doing this but a dry box or lower % RH may be worth a look at
