patrickamory Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 I'm amazed at the lengthy ash shown by many users in their smoking pictures. I'm a total klutz so maybe this isn't surprising, but do you just handle the cigar _really gently_ in order to get ashes in the 3-4 inch+ range? I know often it has to do with the construction, age, RH of the cigar. But that can't be everything!
traveller Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 Just have to stick a paper clip or long needle down the cigar! 🙃 2 2
gustavehenne Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 I’ve managed to get 4 inches of ash on NC cigars (notably Fuente) but never more than 2 inches on a CC. No idea why but it’s a new personal mission 2

Long ash makes me anxious. 1

I've only got the Esmerelda's and Topes' and not noticed the long ash yet - you've convinced me to try one this evening and test it out 2
