Popular Post Kaptain Karl Posted October 16, 2021 Popular Post Posted October 16, 2021 1/3: Rich pastry, nut and cream on the first few puffs, then raw, slightly bitter nut takes prominence. Deeper into the 1/3, the nut disappears and is replaced by pastry and butter. 2/3 The cigar is pretty complex with flavors of bitter nut, pastry, cream and butter flexing themselves in different puffs. 3/3 The same complexity continues, then finishes a little too hot. Overall, this one wasn’t quite as good as the previous 2 I had but still a very good cigar. Trinidad’s are smoking so well young, and ML’s are a perfect example. I definitely feel like these are a small step up from the Coloniales just in terms of the quality of the tobacco, as I feel like these have a stronger chance at being a 95+ point cigar at any time. Funny enough my BSM DIC 19 Coloniales feel like they need more time while these, the DIC 20 Esmeralda’s and the BSM MAR 20 box of Coloniales I’ve finished smoked brilliantly young. 91 points (4/5 on the CCW rating scale) (the other 2 I had were 92-94 pointers) 16
