Popular Post djrey Posted October 4, 2021 Popular Post Posted October 4, 2021 Late review of a great stick from the weekend. This one was gifted to me and am unsure of the code. First thing I noticed was the size of this one. No way was this a 42 guage. More like a 46 and was a hefty fella. But hey that's Cuba. Luckily the draw on this was nearly spot on. A touch tight but after a quick massage we were moving along just fine. This was my first NO 3 and I was excited to compare to the NO 4. Started off with mellow chocolate. Very creamy and very thick voluminous smoke. I was concerned about having this with the bonfire as it may overpower the cigars flavor but it stood up quite well! Second third ramped up the chocolate to a dark chocolate. More bittersweet as there is a tannic woodiness present that leaves the mouth a bit dry. Body sitting right at Medium. The tannic nature of the cigar ramped up a little in the final third as it heated up. I really didn't mind much as it provided some oomph to compete with the fire. Chocolate notes stayed throughout the entire experience. Overall a flavorful cigar and was a treat to have next to a fire on a chilly fall night. 92 pts. 6
