This is why you don't constantly get behind on your releases. Any issue comes up and it pushes everything out to a ridiculous point. Only 1 2020 EL now and there is slim to no chance it will be here before Q1 22. 

They should have reduced ERs and new releases after they started getting behind in 2015/2016. Not announcing a release is better than announcing and not delivering. 

Though maybe I've got it all wrong. Maybe announcing and teasing get people champing at the bit. And maybe people like getting an EL with a 2020 band in 2022. Makes them feel like it's aged...

There should be no releases announced in 2022. Give themselves a chance to catch up. 

Anyone who picked up Trini Robusto Extra travel humidor (or any specialty in 2020/21) is going to make out like a bandit on the secondary in years to come.

What's scary is they did take the ELs down to one and the 19 ERs down to two and they're still worse than ever. 

But you're right--get everything out before announcing anything new and only announce what can be delivered within 12 months. They have a full slate of ELs and ERs for 20/21 so if they need to take it down to 1 EL and 2 or 3 ERs for 21/22 then that's fine.
