Popular Post djrey Posted July 25, 2021 Popular Post Posted July 25, 2021 This is my last single Monte 2 from a trip to Havana in 2013. Not 100% of the box code or date but it should fall around 2013. Opens very light grassy notes. Creamy smoke that is a bit in the thin side. Burn and draw are great. Not picking up much in the second third. Hints of chocolate and a bit of wood. Still mild in body. final third we barely touch medium. Grassy core continues with touches of chocolate and cream. Smoke is super smooth but lacking in complexity and richness. This one is a bit over the hill in my opinion but still a nice relaxing experience. 89 pts. Burn time was 1.5 hours. 7
Huckleberry Posted August 3, 2021 Posted August 3, 2021 Far too many Monte 2s from that era suffered from too light of wrapper leaf, and they all taste very similar to what you just described. If you run into some with a darker hue to the wrapper leaf I believe you will find they have lots of life left
