RASCC - OER ABR 20 (VVRW#2) - Cigar with my Son

We had intended to have our first try at the RAS from May 20 but ran out of time as my son got in later than we thought he would. He's finishing up his sophomore year at the University of Idaho. He and and his brothers do a charity tandem bicycle ride from Moscow to Boise every year (295 miles). The charity this year was Hope House of Marsing Idaho a home for emotionally / developmentally impaired youth or youth from abusive families. A great undertaking and I'm proud of him and his brothers for doing this..

After they got in yesterday and we finished dinner , I got the proceedings going... 

Drink : Something I threw together : (2 parts Rum, 2 parts Lemonade, 1 part pineapple juice, splash of grenadine shaken with ice)  pour this in a tall glass and then add Ginger beer on top and mix

Cold Draw : Mine was a little tight,his was perfect... Mine also had hints of barnyard

Construction and Burn: Perfect burn on mine , his required a few touchups and 1 relight

Tasting Notes ( we didn't pay alot of attention as we were catching up...) so I will just do Tasting notes :

Him: Oatmeal cookie, Cedar and Maple syrup

Me: Raisin, Chocolate, and Cream 

 

Smoke Time: 45 minutes for me 50 for him

Score : We both rated them a solid 4/5
