Bijan Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 9 mm punch and draw is good but tight, didn't use perfecdraw. First third: Opens caramel/floral (not at all sweet). Then mint/menthol, a bit woody. Then gasoline/varnish or some volatile compounds. This third finishes with sweet wood. Second third: Quite strong. Tunneling a tiny bit. I purge. Puff a bit faster to fix it. Suffering now. Bitter wood and bitter citrus peel. Final: Bitter herbs. Purge again. Mint/menthol on the tongue. Stop at the band at 57 minutes. Just below 1.5/5. Only saving grace good construction no touch ups, and no disgusting flavours (sad to say I've had a fair bit worse than gasoline 😂). But overall if I had to choose two flavours I'd describe this as gasoline and pencil shavings. 45 cigars left in this cab and unless they turn a corner some of the remaining guys will see their 10th birthday for sure. If I didn't have a soul or conscience I'd delete this post and sell the partial box on BR at the 5 year mark Weather almost 18c/65F. Some wind. A high 30%s humidity. Edit: As marevas go, the only one I've had a similar bad experience are my two boxes of 2007 RyJ Petit Corona cardboard packs which are bland and sometimes bitter. Next least exciting would be cedros deluxe no. 3 that was still better than this. I've had them all I think except I haven't had any of the tubos marevas. Edit 2: Forgot 3 singles of Sancho Panza Non Plus that were unsmokable tent pegs. 2
