Popular Post LordAnubis Posted March 20, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 20, 2021 Had a Tatuaje noella in the lounge here today. I have no opinions on cigar flavour and ash length. I think a manageable ash is fine on a cigar and it’s all about not ashing on yourself. Ash for the sake of a long ash is not a calm and pleasurable experience for me. This was an ok cigar. Good chocolate note, one profile throughout, but my struggle with NCs has been I don’t seem to enjoy them past the first half 11
Joeyjojo Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 I had a 5 year old Noella the other day. It seems with a few years on them they start to develop a very creamy finish. Still plenty of strength on it too, which suggests the Tatuaje brown labels are (for me) one of the best NC for aging.

The reservas do age really well too, but for some reason I do prefer the regular version. I also have some Bon Chasseurs, which I believe are the same blend as the brown label, but a different wrapper. I hope to see how the develop as they already have a very smooth, creamy finish even though they are brand new.
LordAnubis Posted March 21, 2021 Author Posted March 21, 2021 This is one of the cheapest cigars in the lounge here. About the price of two CoRo you would find here at UsD prices 😂 . I had a wise man Maduro soemthing or rather before this. Was a classic powerhouse spice bomb but with a bit of a sultana molasses character to it. I’ve got this NC container that I’ve been working my way through it’s has been overwhelmingly disappointing. Believe it or not the pick of the bunch for me so far has been the Partagas heritage, hoyo Excalibur, Alec Bradley project 40 and intemperance something or rather.

Excellent. I have a cab from 2016 that is still sealed. Will likely open this year. 1

Most of my boxes of Noella, 7th Natural and 7th Reserva are from 2016 and I'm not sure if I'm particularly lucky, but I haven't had a dud yet. I would say definitely open them soon, and see how close to peaking they are for your tastes. I appreciate a lot of guys on this forum really like well-aged cigars and if you are the same, you may even think a bit longer may be needed. All I know is I have to slap the back of my own hand to avoid tearing into a box too frequently. 1
