Popular Post ChangBang Posted March 17, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 17, 2021 Party short that I got back in January, so been resting for 2 months. Had one ROTT and I thought it had more flavor than this one. Ash for me more represents construction and how it'll burn. I know the saying that it should keep the cigar cool and help it from burning too hot, but I don't really buy into that as I smoke pretty slow anyways so things dont usually get hot for me. With a long ash, I think it'll just be a worry free even burning smoke that doesn't need any touchups and should have a decent draw to it. Starting off this seemed kind of muted in flavor especially compared to the one I had ROTT. The draw was fine and the cigar itself looked good, I don't recall having any sort of impressive ash with these in the past but I guess if I try maybe I can get a good one? This is what I'd consider good ash from a CC and anything longer than this is when I'd really start having to worry that I'm going to ash on myself! I would under normal circumstances forcefully tap the ash off at this point. But for the competition, lets see how far I can get! Relights are worrisome as I think it may weaken the ash stack? This is what I ended up getting to, the ash fell probably 10 seconds after I took this pic and luckily I had my hand off to the side so I just got ash on my garage floor. It's been a while since I've had ash that long and honestly towards the end I was kind of more worried about the ash vs the flavors of the cigar! As I said in the beginning, this party short seemed more muted than the one I had ROTT and I was expecting more after the rest. I give it a 4/10 - slightly below average but still not a bad cigar by any means. 8
