Popular Post SpecialK Posted March 17, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 17, 2021 Going through this box entirely to fast... The intent was to age them but doesn't look like that's going to happen.. I've got a 10 count of RAS also that I've been able to ignore so far.. The short format lends itself to my lifestyle and with summer coming it will be warmer and I'll have more time so the RAS will come into focus. Drink : Root Beer Rum Cream (1 part Gosling Black, 3 parts root beer, add a splash of Baileys Irish cream on top ( I did more than a splash and doubled the rum. Long week ) Cold Draw: Draw was tight and smell was of Barnyard or Hay Construction and Burn: Well constructed not too many touchups , not many blemishes on the wrapper. Smoke Time: 40 minutes... ( I smoked it too fast and had to leave it early) First Half: Sweetness, Leather , Cedar and Raisin Toast Second Half: More of above with added strength along with some Oatmeal and Apple Ash: This is the part I'm not good at, maybe I don't have patience but I couldn't keep an impressive ash on this but I enjoyed the smoke immensely . I will try harder on the next one Score: 4/5 due to the tight draw... I even "gave it the business" with the PD. But as I said this cigar really hits the marks for me. Footnote... as you relax you start to notice things you hadn't before.. I'm looking around and I notice the "excellent craftsmanship" used to build my fence... will show the pictures below... I'm not a carpenter or anywhere near that level but this looks pretty crappy... Pictures: 9
