Cut: Colibri V-Cut

Lighter: Dupont Defi Extreme

Location: My Garage

Drink: Long coffee (Lavazza Top Class beans) few drops of vanilla monkfruit sweetner

I needed to get something cheap n cheerful to get past a vendor's shipping minimum. I didn't know what to get so I grabbed a 10er box of these. I ended up with a 17 box which was a pleasant surprise. I've never keep stock of these and I think this is my very first one ever. Great draw. Can't pick up any big or distinct flavors but good barnyard at the foot.

First third in a sentence: Coffee flavors with a nuttiness backbone.

Second third in a sentence: Nuttiness becomes more pronounced, and while I'm not getting much chocolate I do get a nice woodiness. (Pencil shavings)

Final third in a sentence: Roasted salty nuttiness more pronounced with a lot more spice and hints of vanilla.

Retrohale: Some sweetness working well with vanilla monkfruit drops. Unsweetened chocolate there if you seek it out.

For the first one ever...I really liked it and I'm happy I have this aged box. Great little minute. I could see going deeper in these even tho Monte is not a Marca I buy/smoke much. RASCC and Party Shorts might have company in my minuto rotation.

Cheers from ElJavi76!

Good review. Great little stick to add to the rotation. One of the strongest Montes imo. I have a couple of boxes from early 16 and they still have tons of legs left. Nice hat in the backround as well. Grew up there and ended up moving when all the californians moved in. It used to be such a great state. Now its crowding up with calitards. Tragedy

Thanks Dan. I'll say this little cigar did coat the tongue well and produced a good robust smoke. I smoke every day so it takes a lot to teeter my rocking chair at this point. BBFs used to get me jittery. Now I can have them for breakfast on an empty stomach and won't make a dent. MC N.5 did not the ground running and I appreciate that in a short cigar.

As for Montana, my wife and I joke that that was our last vacation. President's Day weekend 2020 was our friends ski trip out there. I'm neither a huge skier nor had I ever been to Montana. Stayed at the Lone Mountain Ranch. What am amazing place. Really enjoyed the whole trip. I'm not gonna be mad when Montana isn't the last place I flew to though.
