This was a recent purchase that I let rest for only a month before giving a try today.  Was looking forward to it since my last box of JL 2 has been terrific.

Beautiful dark oily wrapper on this one.  Aroma at cold was dried fruit and very light.  Draw had medium resistance so should be good to go.  Cigar opens with good smoke production and light to medium body.  Flavors are very musty with a sourness like sour cream.  Pleasant with no bite at all.  Midway point the flavors remain the same but the body and strength increased.  Not much evolution but in the last third has some astringent in the mouth and the cigar got pretty hot even smoking it very slowly.  Had to put it down with an inch or so to go since it just got bitter and hot.  This box is going down for a long rest.  I give it a C- and am hopeful for a better future.

I love #2! On my 3rd or 4th box, so bought the #1 ... unfotunately the 1st quarter box or so have all been plugged. The rest are in long nap mode as well.

Thanks for the review. Sorry it didn’t hit the mark. Wrapper looks very nice though.
