End of a long week and in need something reliable (and short given the weather out).

 

Beautiful flawless light Colorado wrapper with a pinpoint draw. Don’t know if it’s something to do with the pigtail but I’m still yet to come across a Trinidad cigar with a poor draw.

 

1/3 Initial draws are dry and earthy with a zesty note on the tip of the tongue. Hints at spice and almond but a backbone of oak and coffee close out the first third.

 

2/3 Spices intensify and rich leather and coffee flavours take centre stage. Hint of sweetness on the finish and the initial dryness fades. Burn is without fault.

 

3/3 Definite nutty quality picks up again toward the end of the cigar alongside the earthy core. Smoke dense and creamy. 

 

All together just a lovely smoke and glad I’ve got the reminder of a box to come back to. Very much looking forward to trying the Media Luna when it arrives in the post. 

 

92 would be a fair rating for this one.
