Popular Post Fosgate Posted February 5, 2021 Popular Post Posted February 5, 2021 Cool story about the cigar community. I was looking for an aftermarket shelf/cutting board for my Traeger Timberline 1300 since the factory one is pretty much useless. I found a guy on ETSY https://www.etsy.com/shop/harlandbrown selling one that simply uses powerful magnets to attach. I placed my order no rush and just expected it will arrive when it arrives knowing he builds to order. About two weeks in and I get a message from him apologising for the Delay and offered to do my name in print or script for free and asked my to choose. Knowing in small business how every dollar counts I thanked him and chose but felt he deserved something for his additional time. Again, his timeframe was still in my expectations. I ask him if he likes cigars (Not knowing he has any cigar related product) to which he responds YES. I then told him I appreciate his time and I'm going to send him a couple cubans his way as a gesture of my appreciation. Thank you was exchanged and about 2 weeks later I get a message that my order is done and he is shipping with a 'Gift" to help me smoke areound the grill. Yesterday it arrives and I open it up. I see my two beautiful Walnut shelf and cutting board and his "Gift". I had been contemplating buying a cigar holder for awhile and I missed out on the recent review with the entrants getting a free cigar holder. What I got was a beautiful little wooden burl cigar holder with a powerful magnet in the bottom of it. Groove for the cigar is cut on top and on the side so I can stick it to any horizontal or vertical metal surface. It's for sure, sturdy when that magnet locks it to the surface. Such a cool gesture from a small business owner and just one of many cool things I've had happen by just appreciating people and asking, "Do you like cigars?" I hope he sells a ton. 5
