Popular Post sho671
Setting: Mid-morning on 12/26/20, 23 F and sunny with a slight breeze. Paired with: 2 oz of medium roast coffee mixed with salted caramel hot chocolate. Cut: Colibri V-cut. Pre-light: Fair draw, could be better, could be worse. First Third: Floral notes and slight note of hay. Second Third: Nothing new flavor-wise, but the burn started to get a little wonky (possibly due to the breeze) and required a few touch ups. Last Third: The slightest touch of creaminess in addition to the floral and hay notes. This was my second Qd'O I've smoked and like the first it was a lot lighter than I prefer. I have a box of 10 Qd'O No 50s that I bought a few months ago but I'm not sure what I should do with them. For now I'm going to leave them untouched and hope they are better than the 54 or Senadores, or hope that my palate improves and is able to pick up on more subtleties. 2/5. 4
