A young but nice looking Monte 2:

First Third: somebody notes with light cream, under medium bodied. Burn a little wonky, which persists throughout the other thirds.

Second Third: now the flavor kicks in, with Cocoa and cream coffee and growing intensity. No hint of youth. 
Last Third: same flavors but the coffee becomes coffee grinds and the youth begins to show, with the bitterness rapidly increasingly to the point I put this down around the 75 minute mark. 
 

Overall this was a decent Monte 2 that was impeded primarily but it’s youth. Good things ahead though considering it’s well under a year old.

No, in fact I always post reviews using my iPhone camera and browser. I cropped these heavily from the originals, which may have had something to do with it. Who knows. I guess there are worse things to have a needlessly enlarged picture of...
