Setting: Mid-morning on 12/19/20. It was 20 F out, but it was sunny with clear skies.

Paired with: Dark roast coffee with some sugar.

Cut: Colibri V-cut.

Pre-light: A subjectively perfect draw.

First Third: Great draw and smoke production from the get-go. Started a little woodsy and bready with a little pepper on the retrohale. Some notes of artificial cherry flavoring.

Second Third: More of the same from the first third but now with notes of burnt tobacco.

Last Third: Continued with woodsy and bready notes but now there was a distinct tartness that I can only imagine is what many describe as a cherry note, but this was different from the artificial cherry flavor I was getting early on.

This was a longer than normal smoke for me in the winter time and the cold was getting to me towards the end of the smoke. Otherwise an enjoyable smoke.
