Popular Post bkdash
This is my third cigar from the Christmas Sampler. Straight cut yields a perfect draw. Weather to accompany us is 61F 61RH, which is incredible for a mid December New England day. Paired with Bulleit Bourbon Whiskey. Prelight is a spicy bitter chocolate. 1/3: Strong spice thought the nose., Creamy smoke brings a lot of bakers chocolate. Medium body. As we get into the first third I'm getting fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. Good amount of spice through the nose as well. End of the 1/3rd there's a light earth/ forest floor kind of vibe. 2/3: Chocolate and baking spices. Burn needed a few touchups already which is less then a ideal. More of the fresh baked cookies and spice through the nose. This cigar flavor wise has been amazing for me so far. The burn has been not good at all. 3/3: Chocolate and a new floral note comes in. Cedar and dried fruit comes in towards the nub. This cigar flavor wise has been amazing. The burn on this cigar held it back for me. At least 5 touchups on this one. Smoke time 1H45M 93/94 This could have been a 96 cigar for me but the burn touchups held it back.
