Popular Post HuffnPuffff
This has been a dependable beer-able cigar for me for 20 years - I used to love smoking them in a high ceilinged bar, but nowadays is always outside - ideally in a breeze-free corner in the sun. I also loved the Exh #3’s, but the 4 is god’s own size. I have 2 x 2013/2014 boxes from our esteemed host, and in a panic just realised I don’t have anything younger. I would imagine that the uplift in Churchill quality has likely fed through to the Exh 4’s, but that is just a guess. Back to this cigar:Great Turkish Delight on the pre-draw sniff, followed by classic Romeo flavours in the first third. Spices and cream. The second third got slightly bitter - I imagined the twiggy stemmy taste I get from light French Gamay wines, which thankfully disappeared in the final third to be replaced by more Turkish Delight dusted with powdered sugar. Burn was impeccable and ash held on & on. Perfect construction. I was unfortunately bogged down in work and not able to focus on the cigar much, but with its familiar flavour and impeccable construction it allowed me to do just that. London Pride was a workable (if not perfect) pairing. 3/5 (in my 1/3/5 scoring system) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
