Singles, no codes

Construction: Very nice, felt firm, but not overfilled.

Wrapper: medium brown, fairly veiny with some tooth, minimal sheen.

Draw: on the tight side, but still produced plenty of smoke, with a nearly flawless burn.

Taste: started out with lots of sweet cream and white pepper on the tongue. It mellowed somewhat to a more neutral character, though it stayed spicy throughout.

This was one of the spiciest cigars I've had in some time. It was medium in body, but

not thin in flavor whatsoever. I enjoyed it until the last third, where it became VERY

grassy, and bitter. Overall a very nice cigar that I look forward to trying again soon.

Exactly spot on with my experience. And I always thought I was nuts for thinking this was a peppery stick.

I have found the Hoyo Epi No. 1 to have a mild nutty tobacco taste, woody, creamy, almost buttery, herbal, a tad sweet, and somewhat fruity, not a powerhouse, more medium in body. A great Corona Gorda!
