I haven't seen or heard too much about the Vegueros marca offerings, but decided to add a tin of 16 Tapados to an order I placed from one of the European based grey market dealers a couple months ago. The biggest reason I bought them was because I couldn't pass up a good deal. They were on promo for $65, which is less than the 67.20 CUC price in Cuba; and it included shipping. I wasn't too worried about authenticity, but upon receipt the serial number was verified. I let them rest for a little bit and decided to smoke my first one within the first week or two of getting them. At $4/cigar, I didn't expect it to compare to ultra premium cigars, but I got great value at the price point. The draw and burn have not been issues with the Tapados I have smoked. The flavor notes are mainly grassy and hay. Not a complex cigar in my opinion, but it has great value and is Cuban tobacco. I tend to grab one when I am otherwise preoccupied, like when I'm out exploring or hiking. Overall an enjoyable cigar at a great price point. I'm looking to pick up some Mananitas in the near future to see what the Vegueros line has to offer.

1 on my 0/1 scale.

I enjoy the Vegueros Mananitas. Very good value for the price. The poor mans Cohibas is what I once read. Heard good things about the Tapados also. Have one from a trade with a few years on it.
