Love these skinnies!! These are right at the 5 year mark, which is “the” milestone in the cigar world for Por Larrañaga, and one of the favored box codes to boot!

 

Draw is right on the money after clipping the cap. I am careful not to torch the cigar initially so as not to affect the flavors. It toasts up easily and evenly.

 

Smoke output is great in the beginning, very light bodied, very floral sweet smoke. Ash drops after 1/2”. Burn line is straight as an arrow.

 

Floral sweetness is the dominant profile as I make my way through the rest of the cigar. There is not a ton of complexity, not a ton of body, but a super tasty sweet smoke that is very easy to enjoy. I am retrohaling every draw, such a pleasure. I make sure to give 60-90 seconds between draws to keep this cigar from burning hot, and I am rewarded.

 

In conclusion, not the most complex cigar by any means, but a great value at ~$4 each for a 1-hour smoke with excellent construction. The key is to dry box or store at a low RH with these skinnies, and smoke them slow. If you do that, you will have a great experience. I rate this a solid 88 points.

Not had one for a little while but like you just a sweet tobacco, a bit of nuttiness here and there. Really nice... I should go grab another one out the box! Great value stick.
