sho671
I don't have any Cuban Churchills to smoke and very few Churchills in general, so I'm going to review the few NCs I do have in hopes of winning a few Cubans. Just like with the pyramids, I usually don't go for bigger format cigars. I prefer robust and coronas just for times sake. I picked this out to smoke while playing in the weekly poker game last night. I've had the regular Melanio iteration of this cigar in the robusto size multiple times and happened to see and pick this up at a B&M about a year ago. There was one touch up right around when I took the second picture, but otherwise draw, burn and smoke production were all very good. I remember reading a CA review about this cigar and recall espresso being mentioned and that is what I was getting intermittently throughout this cigar. Not much else jumped out at me flavor wise. It was a very pleasant smoke, but I personally enjoy the Melanio more. I didn't make it too far in the poker game, but as always it was a good time with a good smoke. 1 on my 0/1 scale.
