Bijan Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 Weighed 3 cigars for this one. 2 were 13 something and light. Third one was just a hair light but very close to official weight. Straight cut but managed to unravel the wrapper. Draw was a bit loose but not quite a wind tunnel. Pre light draw nothing special stands out in my memory. Upon lighting very complex spice, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Quite pleasant and tons of smoke. Smoke output was consistently good and draw was nice. But flavour became increasingly nutmeg which was not my favourite. Enjoyed smoking it while on the FOH zoom call, but flavour wise it wasn't great past 20 minutes. The wrapper split around halfway but didn't cause any problems. Unfortunately once I took off the band at 60 minutes the wrapper came loose and came off and that was the end. High points were good draw, smoke output and initial flavour but again after 20 minutes nothing special flavour wise. I'll give it an 85 with high hopes for the other 5 cigars in the quarter box. 2
Connoisseur Kim Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 Sorry to see you had dud one @Bijan. I have aged Upmann No. 2 in my stash and wonder the difference between Monte No. 2 and Upmann No. 2. 1
Bijan Posted August 31, 2020 Author Posted August 31, 2020 Thanks @Connoisseur Kim it was still quite an improvement over the Partagas Mille Fleurs on the last zoom call 1

Try other one from same box in another time buddy ? 1
