Ash Bridges Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 I've been wanting to break out the culebras for some time, and today was the day. I should have taken a pic before we took them apart, but alas. On to the cigar: Great, dark, oily wrapper. Easily the darkest partagas I've seen, including the maduros. Cold draw was perfect. Sweet, cedar. 1st third: big. full. sweet bell pepper and white pepper with sweetness and cedar. 2nd third: really creamy. bell pepper sweetness continues but spiciness subsiding. some retouches and canoeing, to be expected from a cigar shaped like a mattress spring. Final third: sweetness continues, getting spicier, maybe too much so, and predictably the burn is becoming increasingly uneven. Spice fades in the last inch and it sticks the landing. What a great smoke. 40,000 points. IMG_8499.HEICIMG_7192.HEICIMG_4947.HEICIMG_3149.HEIC 3 1
