Partagas mille fleurs RUM SEP 18 (PRW)

I've had very good luck with super Partagas for a long while but decided to change things up and try a box of milles fleurs and it didn't go well.

Down to my last 3. Lot of plugged cigars in this box. This one no exception though it was the lightest of all the ones left at 10.5g. Had one weigh in at over 12.5g which is a lot for a petit corona. That was of the 3 left. I swear one earlier from the box was over 13g.

Pre draw had a bit of Partagas spice but once lit it was a consistent liquorice flavour though a bit of spice on the retrohale. Drank half my vodka soda lemon by the time I was 5 minutes in due to the liquorice taste I didn't care for. I don't really need transitions if the taste is to my liking but this wasn't to my taste.

Flavour did improve a bit in the final third with a hint of spice and pepper.

Edit: smoke time 50 minutes not quite to a nub.
