Update on Nudies V2?

Just curious to see if there's any update on the plans for the next iteration of Nudies. I think I recall @El Presidente mentioning something about smoking one, but may have been my imagination. Have been enjoying V1 thus far. Would love to hear what others think!

2020 V2  final taste testing with selected members is currently  being completed. 

The 2020 Carlota and Lancero are a big step up in flavour from the 2019. 

That has been the most gratifying thing and  the way it should be. 

Taste/blend selection will be finalised August and then we roll into production. 

Will be ready for sale November/December.

I am sure that the testers are fully seized of your aim, and I am sure they will do their utmost to put it into practice. To that end, I assume you have set up an international committee with fairly broad terms of reference, so that at the end of the day they will be in a position to think through the various implications, and arrive at a decision based on long-term considerations rather than rush prematurely into precipitate and possibly ill-conceived decisions, which might well have unforeseen repercussions.

Just had a 2019 Nudie Lancero. Excellent smoke - even better than I remembered. Though it appeared to have a hard spot that kinda concerned me, the construction proved perfect and it burned without touch up. As you might imagine,  I'm going to be in on V2 - really curious to see how the blending will change. Very much enjoy the evolution in the 2019s.

So now that I've offered such an incredible plug for the Nudies, does that mean I can get in on the 2020 testing "samples?"??

Most of my professional work is in design, prototype, and testing. A core principle of that work is to test with "extreme users" who will represent ends of the spectrum through to the middle.

So if @ElPuro fits the role as an experienced palate, I think you would then need me to incorporate the other extreme of noob. ?
